It’s not a PS3 Monster Hunter, but it’s about as close as you can get. In Lost Planet 2 you will be able to craft (buy?) the Rathalos Armor from the Monster Hunter Series. Don’t you think it’s kind of sadistic? Like saying: “Hey look guys. This is what Monster Hunter would have looked like on PS3, too bad you don’t get to play it”. What do we conclude from that? Capcom loves gamers, but hates PS3 -_-

So Kojima has proven that Monster Hunter also works well if you cannot use any slicing weapons or hammers with his latest game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. So I was wondering what other mashups could also prove to be cool. Because, let’s face it, Monster Hunter just makes about everything better (except maybe trying to study for your exams). We all know that Kojima makes pretty decent games but now has really outodne himself. In his latest creation, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, you will be able to access a certain Island on which some of the beasties from Monster Hunter will reside. So far the pics and the trailer have shown Velociprey, some Felynes, a Tigrex and a Rathalos.
