Even though it has one of coolest looking armors, Khezu remains the ugliest Monster in the Monster Hunter Universe. In a battle there are only a few basic things you have to remember in order to emerge victorious. Khezu has very few attacks and as long as he isn’t in rage-mode he barely poses a threat. The most important thing, in order to evade all of his attacks, is to remain at close to mid-range and attack from the side. His attacks comprise of a lightning-aura that will literally blow you away and also deal a fair amount of damage, as well as the lightning-pellets that become pretty much harmless if you’re not standing in front of him. His weakest spot is his neck, so try aiming for it (aiming at the tail is pretty much useless).

Rage-mode however is a completely different story. A Khezu that has gone berserk is quite dangerous. For one thing his movements become rather random and he can abort certain movements and attacks whenever he feels like it. Also his formerly slow jump attack now becomes quite threatening as he does the aura-thing at the same time. At this point it is crucial to keep your health at max and not get trapped in his screams. Once you stand close to him and get caught in one of those, it’s pretty much over for you.
